Writing Classes

Writing Workshops @ The Stacks — North Portland & Online

Join us for our spring Writing Workshop! We will be offering two classes beginning this March. The Online Writing Workshop will be Wednesdays from 10:30am-12:30pm PST (via Zoom), beginning March 22, 2023, and our in-person Writing Workshop will be on Thursdays from 6:30pm-8:30pm PST, @ The Stacks in North Portland, beginning March 23, 2022. Both classes will be taught by co-owner/author/teacher Mary Milstead, and will be limited to 6 people. The cost to attend is $250 and scholarships are available.

If you’re interested in taking a writing workshop with us, but the above times/offerings don’t work for you, please send us an email at writing@thestackscoffeehouse.com, to let us know what might work in order for you to attend a workshop at The Stacks (either in terms of day/time or a particular workshop theme or focus). If there’s enough interest, and we can make it work, we’d be happy to add more workshops and other classes in the future.
